Sunday, June 6th, 2010The 25th Annual Dolly Parade
Monday, May 3rd, 2010This upcoming Friday (May 7) Pigeon Forge will host the 25th Annual Dolly Parade, the unofficial start of this year’s tourist season and the 25th Anniversary season of Dollywood. Legendary local singer and songwriter Dolly Parton will be the parade’s grand marshal. The parkway will be lined with parade watchers admiring floats, marching bands, celebrities and of course the areas favorite daughter, Dolly. This year’s parade will begin at 6PM.
In addition to the Dolly Parade this weekend, Saturday morning at 9AM the Shrines will hold their Fun Fest Parade in downtown Pigeon Forge.
Let’s not forgot Mom this weekend with Mother’s Day on Sunday. The Resort has a special for this weekend including a two night stay and a $50 restaurant gift card for those looking for accomodations this weekend.

2010 Spring Grand Rod Run
Thursday, April 15th, 2010The 2010 Spring Grand Rod Run rolls into Pigeon Forge this upcoming weekend. Many of the classic cars and hot rods arrived early to enjoy the event as car enthusiasts from around the country attend this show. With yesterdays beautiful weather we though we would bring you a few photos of some of the cars already in town. We will try to post more in the next few days.

The Resort at Governor’s Crossing “Cirque de Chine” Package
Thursday, February 25th, 2010The Resort has added a two night stay package including 2 tickets to “Cirque de Chine” at the Smoky Mountain Palace. “Cirque de Chine” is an extravagant display of grace, dance, skill and illusion reminiscent of the opening ceremonies of the 2008 Bejjing Olympics. Two of the shows favorite acts are the Jung Jo Drums, an all girl ensemble, and the 5 Flying Motorcycles that race around inside a 26 foot metal ball.

Return of The Resort’s NASCAR Speedpark Packages
Thursday, February 18th, 2010The Resort at Governor’s Crossing has brought back its very popular NASCAR Speedpark packages for the 2010 season. Combining excellent accommodations, The Resort’s exciting waterpark activities and a fun filled day at the NASCAR Speedpark, this multi night package will make your families trip to the Smokies one to remember.
Book a stay of two or more consecutive nights at our special NASCAR Speedpark Rate and receive an all-day wristband voucher ticket to NASCAR Speedpark for each day of your stay (stay 2 nights 2 tickets, 3 nights 3 tickets and so on). Packages are available on both one and two bedroom condominiums, additional voucher tickets may be purchased at the front desk.
The packages are available for stay dates 3/19/2010 to 10/30/2010 on-line and to reserve this package enter the pass code SPEED in the promo box and enter your dates. From the drop down box next to rate plan select NASCAR SPEEDPARK PACKAGE and this will display available room types with the special NASCAR SpeedPark rates.
