Annually Gatlinburg, Pigeon Forge and Sevierville celebrate July 4th in a big way with 2015 being no exception. From parades, concerts to fireworks there is something for everyone. This year’s schedule includes:

40th annual Gatlinburg“First July 4th Parade in the Nation” starts at midnight July 3/July 4
25th Annual Patriot Festival sponsored by the City of Pigeon Forge and 107.7 WIVK radio Knoxville begins Noon July 4th, entertainment begins 1:30PM at Patriot Park
July 4thPatriot Festival– Pigeon Forge’s Patriot Park will again be home to this annual festival starting at 12 noon with fun and activities for kids. Onstage entertainment will begin at 1:30 p.m. with concerts featuring the Pigeon Forge Community Chorus, the Tim Kellar Band, bluegrass group Adkins & Loudermilk, the Jimmy Buffet tribute band Sons of Sailors and the event headliners Lonestar.
July 4th Fireworks- Pigeon Forge’s fireworks display will be at Patriot Park starting somewhere between 9:30 till 10 p.m. depending on the conclusion of onstage entertainment. Gatlinburg’s fireworks will be centered downtown (recommended viewing around traffic light #3) to begin about 10 p.m. All fireworks subject to weather conditions.
Shadrack Watersports & RV will again host its Christmas Wonderland at TN Smokies Stadium in Sevierville. This honored Christmas LED light show, synchronized to music of the season, is something for the whole family to enjoy.
Enjoy this nearly one mile long exhibit from the comfort of your own vehicle. Guests will be instructed to tune their radio to the local broadcast as thousands of lights blink to Christmas music. The entire display takes about 20 minutes to view. Christmas Wonderland at Smokies Stadium will open Nov. 12 and run through January 2nd, hours are 6-10PM. It was announced this week that Christmas Wonderland will be held at Smokies Stadium during Sevierville’s Winterfest Celebration. The fully computerized LED light show will be one of the largest in the country. The drive-through synchronized light show will be nearly a mile in length and last about 20 minutes. Christmas Wonderland will begin November 6th and will continue through January 3rd, 2010. Hours of operation are Sunday-Thursday 6PM-10PM and Friday & Saturday 6PM-11PM. Admission is $10 per vehicle.
Merle Haggard, set to be the headline act for the evening concert Saturday July 18th at Fan Fest held at Smokies Stadium, has been forced to cancel due to health reasons. Stadium officials are offering refunds to those who purchased tickets specifically to see Haggard. For more information call 865-286-2300.
Smokies Stadium in Sevierville on July 18th and 19th will host the Smoky Mountain Fan Fest. Scheduled to appear are members of the cast of the Dukes of Hazard TV show along with other performers from other classic television shows and movies.
On Saturday night there will be a concert featuring country music legend Merle Haggard, along with Janie Fricke and Cooter’s Garage Band.

Country music star Trace Adkins will be in concert in Sevierville on June 23 at Tennessee Smokies Stadium. Also performing that evening will be Billy Currington and Jeremy McComb. Tickets are available online at concertsinthesmokies.com.
The Mountain Press reported today that Bob Dylan, Willie Nelson and John Mellencamp will perform on stage at Tennessee Smokies Stadium in Sevierville on July 29th. Tickets go on sale May 16 at the stadium or online at smokiesstadiumevents.com. Showtime will be at 5:30PM, gates open at 5.
