Surveys of previous guests indicated a desire for a play area for smaller children, preferably one that would not involve swimming. After presenting these survey results at the annual Home Owners Association meeting , the association elected to purchase the attraction.  The new “Pirate Ship” playground will be located between the outdoor pools and the building housing the front desk office. This dry play area will add to the many amenities already located at The Resort. Installation has already begun with completion targeting April 1st.

Planning on coming to the Smokies with that special someone to celebrate Valentine’s Day? If you choose to stay at The Resort @ Governor’s Crossing you can build your own package online to include a box of chocolates and/or a wine package.
Guests staying at The Resort starting Feb. 10th through Feb. 14th may purchase a 14oz box of chocolates for $10.95 or purchase our wine package (local wine, 2 glasses, and cork screw) for $29.95. Wine packages are available year round.
You may build these packages online or by calling 800-497-5749. We are sorry but these items must be purchased 48 hours prior to arrival.

Last year at The Resort @ Governor’s Crossing we began to allow you to build your own packages. We are happy to announce that again in 2012 we have tickets to Ripley’s Aquarium of the Smokies.

Just go to our on-line booking engine, choose your dates and applicable rate type (our standard every day rate is called Rack, if you are a member of AAA, AARP, own a business or are a government employee you may select those applicable discounted rates). If available you will be offered the opportunity to upgrade, and then a box will appear where you can add tickets or other items. Look for the Ripley’s Aquarium logo and select the tickets needed in each age catagory. (If you require more than 4 tickets of any age grouping select 4 and then you will be able to add additional tickets).

The packages are available for stay dates 1/9/2012 to 1/2/2013 on-line and must be reserved 2 days prior to arrival. Tickets will be available for pickup at 4PM day of arrival. Once tickets are received by guest they become the sole responsibility of the guest and are non refundable.You must have Java Script enabled on your computer to view these rates. You may also call 800-494-7308 to reserve your package.

Unlike hotels The Resort, like most condominium complexes as well as most cabins, have full kitchens, therefore we do not offer a breakfast.
Those of you not wanting to fix your own breakfast or looking to take a break and dine out may want to try the Smith Family Dinner Theater. They offer an all you can eat breakfast buffet from 8AM to 10:30AM for $4.99 per person plus taxes. Best of all, through the end of the year they are doing a buy one breakfast buffet and get one free offer to guest’s of The Resort!
Just minutes from The Resort they are located on the parkway at traffic light #1 in Pigeon Forge.

This package continues with how our packages at The Resort are done this year, as you basically get to build your own package. Simply use our on line reservation system and select the applicable rate code and unit type, you will be offered an upgrade if one is available and then a box will come up offering various tickets and sell items. Simply select the amount of horseback riding tickets needed and they will be added to your total (If you require more than 4 tickets select 4 and then you will be able to add additional tickets). The price for these tickets is $24.95 each including taxes (normal price $29.99 plus taxes).

Upon check in at The Resort you will be presented a voucher for your tickets. Call the local number (865-453-8644) to reserve a time for your ride (as a courtesy to our guests, they request that you call so you do not have to wait in line during peak season) and present your voucher at their box office. Vouchers are not available until check in time (4PM day of arrival).

Package is available 3/1/2012  through 6/30/2012. This package may be combined with other packages offered on our web site. Offer is not applicable with 3rd party reservations: Expedia, Orbitz, Pigeon Forge Hot Deals, Travelocity, etc. Once guest receives voucher, said voucher becomes sole responsibility of the guest. No changes are permitted to the voucher. Adventure Park Five Oaks can not and will not make any changes or refunds to the voucher. Any changes regarding number of guests going horseback riding must be done prior to 36 hours before arrival by calling 800-497-5749.

The outdoor portion features a lazy river, water slide, lumberjack log roll, Jacuzzi, and kiddies’ pool with water highlights. Of course one of the most popular features is the giant sunning deck for sun worshipers.
The hours of the outdoor waterpark are 9AM till 10PM. The indoor waterpark also opens at 9AM and remains open till at 11PM.

2011 Bloomin BBQ & Bluegrass

The dates have been set for Sevierville’s 2011 Bloomin BBQ & Bluegrass, the city’s largest event. This annual street fair style festival features a championship barbeque cook off and bluegrass concerts from rising stars and many of the legends of bluegrass.  This year’s festival will be held May 20th & 21st and the great thing is… admission is free! Today’s technology affords us the ability to make plans and travel at the last minute deciding on a weekend getaway or a family vacation just days or even hours in advance.
With weather & road conditions, cancelations and other outside factors we sometimes end up with vacant units we need to rent. Many third party travel sites advertise on TV and other media that they can give you these rooms at big (giant) discounts. They are right, we are forced to give them giant discounts, they then mark up the room and offer it to you for a big profit for the travel site. The savings is to them, not you the consumer. So, The Resort has offered to text you discounted rates and let you reap the rewards when we have too many units left to rent.
These offers will be last second, usually no more than 2-7 days before arrival, some times even arrival that day and will only be offered via text message. The rates will be date and unit type specific, good till that room type is sold out for the specified dates. The offer can not be applied to any other room type or dates and cannot be combined with any other promotions, coupons or discounts.

Every time we post a new special rate you will receive a text from us with a toll free phone number to reserve your unit.
